Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed a novel miniaturized waveguide bandpass filter, which filled with anisotropic uniaxial meta-material with transversal negative effective permeability. The theoretical analysis is presented. A sample using the W-band standard waveguide to operate at Ka-band is simulated. From the simulation, it can be concluded that the filter has large band rejection and high selectivity. The 3-dB relative bandwidth is 3.8% at the center frequency of 34.83 GHz.
