Abstract :
An improved W-band four-way power divider/combiner using turnstile coupling waveguide has been proposed in this paper. This divider/ combiner possess properties of low loss, high power capacity, compact structure, good return loss, and good heat dissipation. The 3D EM simulation results show that, from 85GHz to 100GHz, the return loss is better than 22dB and the transmission coefficient is about -6dB, meanwhile the output return loss is great than 15dB ranging from 88-100GHz. Applied with MMIC power amplifiers, this power divider/combiner can be used in solid-state power-combining amplifying module, and high power radar systems in W-band.
