Abstract
In order to provide personalized services with intelligence, the exact understanding of users´ contexts is necessary. While different kinds of agents communicate with each other through the network and share the information, an expressive language is required for this communication between agents. The semantic Web and the ontology may be used to enable the effective communication between different agents. This paper proposes the architecture to provide the intelligent student support system. The paper also shows how ontological technology can be integrated, in an interoperable manner, with the e-learning, which is recently emerging as a new paradigm in the field of information technology.
