Abstract :
A suite of tools that supports heterogeneous system development for real-time control systems is being designed. This paper describes what benefits heterogeneous systems can provide and suggests a design methodology. Software tools are required for system development and a toolbox is proposed. Tools for manipulating algorithms have been designed, and these are demonstrated by tuning the granularity of an algorithm.
