Abstract :
Reports an experiment to characterize the spectral signature of major Amazon water types. We explore 60 complete sampling sets to investigate the impact of water components in the shape of water spectra. Results allowed them to be classified into 3 major classes: sediment laden water; dissolved organic carbon laden water; and transition water
