Abstract
The paper presents a novel control scheme for the stator current regulation of an induction motor drive. The method uses the space vector modulation technique. A transient model is used to predict the current output and the voltage-signal from controller, represented directly as a PWM switching pattern, is derived from some optimization procedures. Simulation study of this method is presented and results are shown, giving perfectly satisfactory performance in both dynamic and steady states.
