  • Abstract
    This paper is concerned with a mathematical model for numerical simulation of 2D flow around two parallel square cylinders. The governing water equations are solved by a implicit bidiagonal numerical scheme, based on the MacCormack´s predictor-corrector technique. The mathematical model is used to numerically compute the water flow around two parallel square cylinders in a rectangular open channel, which shows that the proposed method is accurate, reliable and effective.
