Abstract :
An either simple or stylish lifting device was designed according to the engineering requirement for steel billet moving equipment by rolling mills. And equivalent moment of inertia and equivalent of the torque are worked out, using matlab. Finally, it is a feasible mechanism showed by the computational results and provides a basis for the subsequent structural design and optimal design.
