Abstract
A heterodyne frequency-locking circuit is being developed to control the frequency of diode lasers. By employing this technique, we can tunably offset-lock the slave laser frequency to the master laser without optical power loss. The frequency tuning range of the slave laser is designed to be 1.1 GHz and the residual beat frequency fluctuation is aimed to be less than 1 MHz.
