Abstract :
Using Berlekamp-Massey, Chien and Forney algorithms, this paper presents a way to implement Reed-Solomon algorithm in QR Code, which has less computational complexity and error-code rate than those in Chinese Standard. In order to validate the algorithm, one QR decoder system for android phone is designed. Test results showed that this system can recognize the QR code information through cell phone camera, and meet the requirement for low error-code rate.
