  • Abstract
    In this paper a direct method for obtaining the operating regions of nonlinear microwave frequency dividers in the frequency domain, is presented. This method is based on the enlargement of the Harmonic Balance system of equations with an additional equation which stands for the condition of turing and/or bifurcation points. This enlarged system of equations is solved in an efficient way by means of a suitable continuation technique. The proposed method has been applied to the analysis of a parametric frequency divider obtaining excellent results.
