Abstract :
In this paper a frequency modulated (FM) sinewave with a known amplitude is used as a stimulus for the characterization of an ADC with the histogram method. The experimental implementation of this technique was incorporated in an automated measuring system, the design, performance and results of which are the subject of this paper.
