Abstract :
We describe the nearly completed apparatus for a measurement of G using a torsion pendulum in the "dynamic" (time-of-swing) mode. Features of the experiment include operation at cryogenic temperature (2K), large pendulum oscillation amplitudes, ring-shaped source masses, and a thin plate torsion pendulum.
