Abstract
Formerly isolated RTOSes are increasingly facing security issues due to including now standard IT components and being exposed to public networks. In this paper, GenRTOS is introduced, a generic low-level RTOS model that aims at the analysis of those risks in a portable way. Possible attacks on GenRTOS are worked out and quantified. Moreover, potential countermeasures are suggested.
