Abstract :
This paper describes the development of a 1.4 M H z secondary-side quasi-resonant off-line dc-to-dc converter. The material presented covers operation of the half-bridge circuit, derivation of the circuit equations, a design example, prototype description and comparisons between simulations and actual circuit performance.
