Abstract :
In this paper, a second order Koch fractal log-periodic dipole antenna (LPK2DA) with broadband is proposed. Koch iteration technique has been applied here in order to obtain a small physical size. And the overall size of the proposed antenna is 57.5×88.9×0.5 mm3. The antenna has a broadband which ranges from 2 GHz to 8 GHz. Furthermore, the antenna has end-fire radiation patterns along its horizontal axis, which is very suitable for receiving antennas and conformal applications.
