Research on the Independent Innovation and Motivation Mechanism of SMEs in China

This paper construct the model of the small and medium-sized enterprises independent innovation system. Through empirical analysis on the SMEs innovation system of the Jilin Province, we found there are some phenomenon in the process of the creation and development of SME´s innovation systems such as not obvious motivation, indifference innovative culture, insufficient innovation investment and imperfect innovation policy. The government should improve incentive mechanism, make full use of entrepreneur role in innovation activities, create innovation environment, solve the bottleneck of lack of innovation funds and make relevant policies to promote the independent innovation upgrading.
