Abstract :
Describes COMNETS, an expert system used for constructing distributed networks. It is an aid in the planning stage from investigation and analysis to developing a basic plan. In this environment, the role of the system integrator is important. COMNETS not only helps in planning the network architecture based on knowledge that the system integrator has accumulated, but also evaluates the network by using a fuzzy integral.
