Abstract
Duplicating mirror servers is always the way adapted in Internet to achieve higher quality of service. And anycast is this type of new service to improve the distribution of network payload and to simplify some network applications. In this paper a concise model of message structure based on IPv6 is proposed. This model improves the network performance via the improvement on IPv6 ICMP router discovery message with the minimum influence on the current protocol and algorithm. When a node arrives at a new subnet, the implement of obtaining care of address and applying anycast service needs only one message send-receive procedure, not two procedures as before. The advantages of this model are that: shorten the period of obtaining care of address and confirming anycast services, simplify IPv6 message types, and save network bandwidth resources.
