This paper will provide an overview of the major recent activities of the CCEM inculding matters related to the fundamental constants and the SI like the work on electrical methods to monitor the stability of the kilogram and the status of the leastsquares adjustment of the fundamental constants. Of particular interest to the CCEM is the work involving improvements in the knowledge of KJ and RK, the Josephson and von Klitzing constants.
