Factors affecting the knowledge transfer process include mainly three aspects, the characteristics of knowledge itself, the motivation of knowledge source and recipient and the absorptive capacity. During the transnational activities, enterprises are trying to find various knowledge well-springs essential to their strategic objectives and, the ability to search for new knowledge depends on organizations´ efficiency to monitor, integrate and absorb the new acquired knowledge on the existing knowledge base. And that is the main task for enterprises´ knowledge management. In order to well understand the knowledge management, studying on the different stages of the knowledge transfer process is a feasible way. And it is necessary to research the characteristics of knowledge itself and the complexity for enterprises to acquire, assimilate, transform and exploit new knowledge-that is the absorptive capability to gain the sustainable competitive advantages.
