Abstract
Dense vegetation cover in southern part of China is a major obstacle for geological and mineral mapping and prospecting purposes. In the "Help the Poor" project from CAC, we carried out a field investigation with the help of geological feature imagery to find gold occurrences for local people in West Hunan Province, China
