Abstract :
Distributed feedback (DFB) lasers offer narrow spectral line width and can be modulated with pulses as short as few tens of picoseconds. This paper reports on development of high power first order DFB lasers emitting at wavelengths around 1060 nm and providing >;750 mW of linear power in CW and >;3.5 W of peak power in pulse mode.
