Abstract :
San Zi Jing (Three — Character Scripture), which is said to be the most popular writing for primary education in ancient China, is still widely influential in the field of our education today. By exploration and analysis on “San Zi Jing”, combined with the results of chi-square test analysis, this research sorted out the theory of educational psychology from the perspective of learning ability. Consequently, the results showed that the theory of cultivation of learning ability was mostly discussed, which indicated that the ancients extremely valued learning ability. Further research found that cultivating of learning ability consists of five contents, namely knowledge capacity, analytic capacity, productive capacity, executive capacity and enhancement capacity.
