  • Abstract
    In this paper, we calculated radiated emission from multilayered PCBs using the common-mode antenna model. First, the common-mode antenna model will be explained. The common-mode antenna model is a simple model that consists of an antenna element and excitation sources only. Radiated emissions from 3-layered PCBs are then calculated by the common-mode antenna model. We will illustrate that the 3-layered PCBs and a 2-layered PCB radiate equivalent amount of radiation, using electromagnetic field analysis of the PCBs by a simulator, HFSS.
