Abstract :
The standardized spectral database of the ground objects in China is consisted of the standardized observed spectral database, typical remote sensing image database, prior knowledge database, remote sensing model base and some tools for building the models. How to organize those data and knowledge with integrity in such a multi-sourced database system is one of the most important technical content. Based on those four databases, this paper is to explore the method of information expression, intended to solve the problem about how to organize the observed spectral data of the ground objects, the remote sensing images and the remotely sensing models according to a given applications. One of the implementations is to interpret the application´s request for the data and models into a command line (e.g., in the format of some standard programming languages) which is stored in a Job table. To execute it, the application´s request could be interpreted in a reverse logic. This method is illustrated by a good spectral application case based on the spectral database and shown the advantage in accelerating the industrialization of the remote sensing technology.
