Abstract
Wireless sensor network has a wide range of applications in the fields of national defense, industry and agriculture, environmental monitoring and so on. The localization of sensor nodes is the basis of these applications. A new localization algorithm (wbf-Euclidean) is proposed in this paper, which is based on Euclidean algorithm. This algorithm utilizes iterative approach to increase localization coverage and sets believable factor threshold to avoid using nodes´ outlier information. In addition, it uses combination trilateration method to obtain the set of coordinate estimates and then calculate the weighted mean to improve localization accuracy. Simulation results show that it is efficient to prevent large localization errors from spreading through the networks, and it is fit for the large scale sensor networks.
