Abstract
The context of user is necessary to serve the user-oriented services in the ubiquitous computing environment. The types of the context are user´s position, social position, available computing resource around the user, etc. The gaze proximity is new type of context proposed in our previous work. The gaze proximity of some object is the degree of the nearness to the user´s gaze. The ubiquitous environment must give user services related the object which has the highest gaze proximity. But the calculation method for the gaze proximity has some faults in our previous work. In this paper we revise the the calculation method for the gaze proximity. And to show that the revised calculation method is correct, we show some examples of the gaze proximity in the virtual environment.
