Abstract :
This paper extends the work on time-space filtering of multi-temporal SAR images presented in Coltuc et al. (2000), by providing theoretical support for bias correction and noise reduction evaluation. The bias value and a lower bound of the coefficient of variation for the residual noise are derived from the speckle probability density function. Theoretical results are compared with experimental measures obtained on multi-temporal SAR images from satellites ERS 1/2
