  • Abstract
This paper considers the real-time implementation of group-blind multiuser detection in the uplink of CDMA systems. The class of group-blind multiuser detectors is used in the situation where a group of users have unknown codes, while another has known codes, for example in the uplink of a CDMA system. Previous papers have only considered block based implementation. In this paper, for the real-time implementation and tracking the non-stationary channel characteristics, we propose using the FASIR (FAst Subspace Iteration with Ritz acceleration) algorithm for subspace tracking. Moreover, we use a Kalman-type of algorithm for the blind channel estimation
