Abstract
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) are characterized by low bandwidth, lossy links and by constant topology change. Many network management architecture and techniques were put forward to adapt to these environments. In this paper, an adaptive, free management architecture which integrates agent, P2P, and policy techniques was proposed, and a prototype with flexible management topology was built in laboratory. Through test, we found this prototype has good performance and can cope with these challenges.
