Abstract
Coupled microstrip lines through a slot in a commdn ground plane are analyzed. The analysis is based on the spectral domain method and the moment method. The aperture fields of the length and width directions with unknown amplitude coefficients are assumed. Their coefficients are computed by solving the characteristics equations which are obtained from boundary conditions. Numerical results are important and useful for both developments of technologies of MMIC and electromagnetic field analysis.
