Abstract
Wireless power transmission for structural health monitoring sensors buried inside reinforced concrete structures are studied here. The effects of various rebar configurations on the efficiency of wireless powering are investigated through far field and near field antenna coupling at three typical ISM frequencies. These analysis leads to the identification of optimum frequency for powering structural health monitoring sensors embedded in reinforced concrete.
