Abstract
The documentation retrieval applications have been influenced by each other and have contributed in the creation of some search culture which is shared between the hidden design assumptions (existing behind) of search interfaces and the user skills. The purpose of this work is to uncover the hidden design assumptions and make known every such technology. This will help to a better exploitation of existing systems and the creation of better ones.
