Abstract :
With the development of molecular imaging and use of clinical medicine, a great number of two dimensional slice images are generated. This paper presents researches of three dimensional reconstruction and interactive clipping. A method of design and implementation of three dimensional visualization and analysis system is proposed based on the visualization toolkit. The three dimensional reconstruction is realized by means of surface rendering and volume rendering. Extended functions, such as interactive clipping from arbitrary directions and result saving, are also provided. This system can assist doctors to diagnose diseases effectively and to improve the accuracy of treatment.
