Abstract :
This paper gives an evaluation of the performance of a uplink MC-CDMA system with power balance control among sub-carriers. The power balance control is implemented at the transmitter. A channel state monitor is required at the receiver side. This scheme is designed to combat the partial-band noise jamming. However, it can also be used to improve the performance of MC-CDMA system suffering from the frequency selective fading. The performance is analyzed and compared to the one without power control to show its effectiveness
