Abstract :
Presents an alternating controller for application of modified PI controllers to a solar furnace. The modified controller designed was not robust as far as disturbance was considered it also possesses a large settling time. The DAC has been designed, incorporating feedforward action, anti-windup and slew rate constraint handling mechanisms. The results show significant robustness of the system/controller for disturbance and a notable change in settling time of the system. Simulation results illustrate the superiority of DAC.
