Design & manufacture and material performance

The choice of materials and improvement of the material properties shall be the material basis to the industrial product design and manufacture. As for any product design and manufacture, the purpose and requirements of the design and manufacture may be realized only if the property characteristics of the selected material are consistent with its machining technologies; moreover, the true use value and the aesthetic value may be realized and the inward functions and surface characteristics of the material may be displayed only through the design and manufacture. Therefore, the influence on the performance improvement and enhancement of the design and manufacture material finished products due to the improvement and enhancement of the material property/properties has been introduced emphatically in this study; in addition, the influence on the performances of the material finished products by the selection of the common materials during the design and manufacture processes has been elaborated.
