Abstract :
A technique based on Characteristics Basis Function Method (CBFM) combined with Multilevel Fast Multipole Algorithm (MLFMA) is presented. The goal of the technique is to reduce the CPU-time and computer memory spent in electromagnetic problems solution. The technique kernel is to use he only the CBFs with a significant excitation. Results show that the approach gives accurate results for canonical and for complex bodies.
