Abstract
The routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) problem is a hot spot in realizing the quality of service (QoS) in generalized multiprotocol label switching (GMPLS) networks. The RWA problem is formulated as a Markov decision process (MDP) in order to realize the multiclass service and the resource allocation dynamically. At the same time, we put forward the blocking probability model and burst traffic model. The simulation results show that the method not only provides service differentiation but also reduces the overall average blocking probability in the burst traffic model.
