  • Abstract
    To solve the scalability problem in the large-scale case for wireless sensor networks, this paper proposes an adaptive clustering routing algorithm for wireless sensor networks. Based on the plane routing architecture, the proposed scheme firstly introduces a clustering mechanism. Then the algorithm divides sensor nodes into clusters, in which data transmission are restrained for better power efficiency. Finally multi-hop routing paths are constructed according to the energy balance principle in the algorithm. Experimental results indicate that performs better than the proposed algorithm.
