Abstract
A joint time-frequency distribution based on the Wigner-Ville distribution and compressed sensing is explored for radar signature analysis. The new distribution provides the localization of the Wigner-Ville with reduced cross terms. The distribution is applied to analyze wideband backscattering from an open-ended pipe and Doppler scattering from a wind turbine.
