The economic cooperation of the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS for short) started in 1992. In its nearly 20-year operation process, GMS has constructed a multi-relational co-operation mechanism with the remarkable performance in social development, economic growth and people´s living standards. In order to make GMS economic cooperation constantly deep-going and contribute to the merge, highly integration and prosperity of sub-region, we need to enhance the cooperation of human resource development (HRD for short) by all participants.
