Abstract :
An 8 element array using bunny ear antenna elements for 60 GHz applications has been developed, manufactured and successfully used in a 60 GHz transmission system. The antenna array is manufactured on a Rogers RO3003™ substrate and shows an absolute gain of 8.5 ± 0.5 dBi in the frequency range from 52 GHz - 66 GHz. Using this antenna connected to a front end, transmission of up to 2.5 Gbit/s was demonstrated over a distance of 2 m.
