  • Abstract
Fractal geometry is a powerful tool for nonlinear signal processing. It has quickly developed recently. Geological process is complicated and a lot of geological phenomena or their signals have non-linear features, which can be described by fractal geometry. Power spectral method is used to calculate aeromagnetic signal fractal dimension. We also analyzed the fractal feature of aeromagnetic. Fractal method is used to identify igneous rocks in oil and gas prospecting, and analyze fault to forecast earthquake disaster, and have a good geological effect.
