  • Abstract
    From three aspects of irrigation water source, regional water resources, and crops yield increase, this paper brings forward a new method to assess regional water-saving effect of different irrigation projects. The expressions of regional water-saving effects have been derived, and a practical example has been provided to illustrate how to use the formulas to assess regional water-saving effects, obviously this method also can be used to improve management of water-saving irrigation projects.
