Abstract
In this paper, the characteristic and performance of different kinds of 2D triangular interpolatory vector elements are compared systematically and explicitly. Nedelec´s functional spaces and Nedelec constraints are discussed, and some important properties of various vector elements are analyzed. The performance of different vector elements is then compared through numerical examples.
