Abstract :
In this paper, the effect of channel response on the measurement of analog front-end impairments is discussed. It will be shown that accurate channel estimation is an integral part of many measurements. Specifically, an OFDM based WiMAX system is considered. Two case studies that describe the relations between channel estimation and transmitter quality measurements are given.
