Abstract :
The present research by using ASTER or MODIS VNIR (Visible Red and Near Infrared band) data is mainly aiming at the analysis of vegetation coverage change in urban areas where there still remain vegetated places such as parks in Tokyo. It was manifested that conspicuous discrepancy of NDVI frequency by VNIR data between two sensors ASTER and MODIS with different ground spatial resolutions.
