Abstract :
Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) as a multi-variable, nonlinear, time varying, strong coupling controlled-plant, the variation of the motor parameters has significant impact on the dynamic and static performance of the system. The dynamic parameters of the motor and load inertia will vary because of the change of the working conditions for the vector control of PMSM, but the traditional PI regulator is incapable of self-tuning its parameters. The subject presents using robust adaptive sliding mode variable structure (SMVS) motor parameter identification, model reference adaptive motor moment of inertia identification, and real-time self-tuning the PI regulator parameters to improve the parameter identification efficiency and accuracy of PMSM and enhance the adaptive servo control ability and robustness of PMSM.
